The Oktoberfest was enjoyed by all...
This year's Oktoberfest was held on Saturday, October 25 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in North
Grosvenordale, CT. It was a full hall with plenty to eat and drink. The
Knights of Columbus served a delicious meal of salad, green beans,
mouth watering steak, baked potato, and rolls with cheesecake for
dessert. And for the beer tasters there were at least a dozen flavors
from which to choose.
The doors opened at 6 p.m. with the steak dinner served at 6:30 p.m.
There was also live music and dancing. The school sold 113 tickets, had some wonderful raffles, sold some mugs, and had a silent auction making a very welcome profit of $2,364.13.
All proceeds will benefit the school. It was a great night to sit and talk,
sample many types of beer, dance, and eat great food. Thank you Knights
of Columbus for all of your hard work. It is a beautiful hall for
special events.
Keep checking back for more photos of this event.
