Summer School
Packet
Incoming 4th Graders,
1 . Book Report - each child must read a book that I will provide this
summer. The required written project will be given to each child along
with the book.
2. Each child will have a packet of 10 math sheets
to do. That works out to one sheet a week. To complete all 10 of these
the week before school starts is counter-productive.
3. Each child MUST know his/her times tables 1-9
by the time they enter 4th grade. We will begin multiplication and
division immediately. It is impossible to master these concepts and be
successful without a total memorization of these math facts.
